獣医学生へのメッセージMESSAGE

If you are interested in working for the international organisations, though logistics and procedures are unusual this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this internship programme will provide you with a good opportunity to learn about the roles of them and how international meeting are organised.

The World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) is the intergovernmental organisation responsible for improving animal health and welfare worldwide. The Regional Representation for Asia and the Pacific(RRAP) of the OIE locates in Tokyo and works for the region to provide regionally adapted services to OIE Members.
Please note that this internship programme will be conducted remotely using e-mail, zoom and etc.

Score of English proficiency test equivalent or more than:
1. TOEFL-iBT 85;
2. TOIEC 750;
3. EIKEN test in Practical English Proficiency Grade Pre-1; or
4. other English proficiency test equivalent above

プログラム概略

Interns are to learn about the roles of the OIE RRAP and how OIE international meetings are organised by supporting and participating the virtual meetings.
Due to the COVID-19 situation, interns are supposed to spend sometime learning by themselves.

The internship progrmme will be completely virtual.
During the internship, interns
– Learn the responsibilities and activities of the OIE RRAP
– Learn and research the background of the assigned meeting
– Participate in internal/external meetings during his/her internship
– Support and participate in the assigned meeting
– Make Presentation on your introduction and wrap-up of the internship
